Japanese-Style Steak Bites
Perfectly seared cubes of Wagyu finished with a savory glaze that enhances their natural richness. Quick to prepare and full of bold umami flavor, ideal for sharing or serving as an elevated appetizer.
Ingredients:
1 Wagyu Prime Striploin Steak
¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper 1 clove garlic (sliced thin) 1 tbsp onion puree (or finely grated onion)
2 tbsp white or apple cider vinegar with 1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
Directions:
Slice the steak into 1-inch thick cubes or strips. Season with salt and pepper. - Sear in a hot skillet for 60-90 seconds per side (no oil needed, the fat will render).
Remove meat.
In the same pan, fry garlic chips in the beef fat. Add onion puree, vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce. Simmer until the sauce is shiny and slightly thickened (about 1 minute).
Toss the steak back in to coat, or pour sauce over the steak
